Our Story

We met Christmas Eve 2002 in New York City and knew quickly that there was a special connection. Joel was drawn to Susan’s bright smile and blue eyes, and Susan was attracted to Joel’s warmth and handsome looks.  We soon discovered that we shared a lot in common: a passion for creativity, growing-up in New Jersey with similar family values, graduating from college with similar studies, and both dreamed of moving to California one day. We married four years ago in Philadelphia so Susan’s grandmother could attend and celebrated with an autumn outdoor wedding.  We embrace our marriage through a lifelong commitment to love each other and raise a family together.  We now live in California and love the outdoors and its beauty and are excited to create our family here.
