 Homelife
We live in a lovely home in a quiet, safe and family-friendly neighborhood just outside of San Francisco. Our home is surrounded by lots of trees, and even a small lake with ducks and water birds, which our little pooch, Barney, loves to watch. We feel like we’re out in the country, and yet we can walk to parks, the market, and even to the ferry boat that takes Joel to his San Francisco job.
A Typical Weekend:
We take our dog on a hike through a Eucalyptus grove, followed by breakfast and sometimes a yoga class. Of course we have the errands to do and chores around the house, but we always make social time to have fun with friends or family. We love watching movies, relaxing on the beach, reading the paper on Sunday and swimming in our pool. We also love going to the Farmer’s market and local County Fairs where there are lots of fun activities for children.
When the weather gets colder, we gravitate toward museum visits and entertaining more at home, where we can snuggle by the fireplace and sip some hot apple cider or peppermint tea. And we both love being in the kitchen. Susan is always cooking up something creative and healthy, while Joel will take charge of the grilling on our deck. And watch-out for dessert time because there’s always something that involves dark chocolate! |
